What We Do
Neighbors donate a bag of food every two months. It is incredibly easy! Southeast Portland Neighborhood Food Project supplies the green bag and picks up the food! This provides food pantries with a steady, year-round supply of food… and provides donors with the on-going satisfaction of making a real difference.
How to get Involved?

If you already have green a bag on hand, bring your bag to MTPC/TaborSpace on the second Saturday of even-numbered months by 10:00 AM. So, for this next month it will be June 12th and we will get it to the food banks. Or, indicate on your sign-up form that you would like your bag picked up by a Neighborhood Coordinator, and that person will be in touch with you about pick-up from your front steps. Pick up an empty bag for your next collection when you drop off a full one, or your Neighborhood Coordinator will leave one on your doorstep.
