Sunday, May 10, 9 p.m.
There is an ancient tradition of the church and most all spiritual traditions, to pause at the end of the day and be with the divine, the Holy One, God of many names. Beginning May 10, we will engage this practice on Sunday nights. The sanctuary will be lit by candles as the chant singers-prayers enter the space and lift their voices to God in the ancient musical form. Come and be in the presence for the music and prayers.
If you would like to learn to sing chant, please come at 8 p.m. Jena Viemeister will give us some vocal instruction and Jim Day will help us prepare the music for the evening.
