What We Do

Neighbors donate a bag of food every two months.  It is incredibly easy, because SPNFP supplies the bag and picks up the food!  This provides food pantries with a steady, year-round supply of food… and provides donors with the on-going satisfaction of making a real difference.

 How Do I get Involved?

Simply pick up your first grocery bag at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church/TaborSpace.  Fill out a sign-up form so we can include you in our email “shout-out” for the semi-monthly collection.  Then just bring your bag to the church/TaborSpace and we will get it to the food banks.  Or, indicate on your sign-up form that you would like your bag picked up by a Neighborhood Coordinator, and that person will be in touch with you about pick-up from your front steps.  Pick-ups are on the second Saturday of even-numbered months.  Pick up an empty bag for your next collection when you drop off a full one, or your Neighborhood Coordinator will leave one on your doorstep.
