Ash Wednesday Service

posted: February 15, 2015

This Wednesday, February 18, 7 p.m., we begin the Lenten journey together.  As Jesus set his face toward Jerusalem and his own death, we begin our 40-day journey of spiritual focus.  It is a time for us to make room in our lives for what is most important and life-giving.  How will you practice these things in your life this Lent?  The Ash Wednesday service is a good place to start.  There will be Scripture readings, beautiful cello music for reflection, some chants to sing and of course, the opportunity to receive the imposition of ashes.
