What is Worship?
Worship is our understanding that God is God and we are not. It is in the way we live our lives honorably, how we treat each other respectfully, and in our acknowledgement and praise of God Almighty as the One who gave and gives us life.
We intentionally gather Sunday mornings to spend time together praising, praying, singing, talking and listening about how we come to find our lives connecting with God on the journey of our lives... our journey of becoming who we were made to be... a journey that soars far beyond the walls of a church building...
9:00
a.m. Coffee House Service
Come be part of the wondering as we discover more about who God is, who we are, and how we can relate together as Christians in our city...
The early service meets in the chapel (see description on "Facilities" page) around the fireplace, with bistro tables and old oak chairs, appropriate for discussion and sipping your favorite beverage. The style is informal and conversational. Children are welcome to participate, or attend separate Sunday School. A combination of local musicians and artists provide music for the Coffee House Service. These often include guitars, drums, keyboard, and voices but is always open to new participants and new instruments. . The prayer time includes both spoken and silent prayers, occasional guided meditation, sung prayers, etc. Sermons are all about telling stories and having conversation and everyone is encouraged to interact, ask questions, and share their own stories as we grow in God's name.

11:00 a.m. Traditional Service, Presbyterian Style
The later service is held in our beautiful sanctuary and has a traditional Protestant feel. We sing songs from the hymnal accompanied by an intense pipe organ. There are prepared prayers and responses for leader and congregation printed in the weekly bulletin. Choruses and special musicians grace the services as scheduled, usually performing in a traditional or classical style. Sermons are presented from the pulpit.
