Good Friday Contemplation

posted: March 17, 2016

StationsColor5Friday, March 25, 7 p.m.

Good Friday is the day we contemplate the love of Jesus, who refused to engage violence with violence because of love. It is a difficult, passionate story. Our gathering will reflect on Jesus’ suffering and death through the beautiful line drawings of Luc Freymanc, live string music and readings, all to candle-light. As suffering touches all of us, we have this evening to know that we are not alone in this experience. And we gather in hope that it will not always feel this way. Life is coming.
